Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How long does orthodontic treatment take? A. Every patient is different, and some orthodontic cases are more complex than others. Generally full treatment lasts from 12 to 36 months, depending on the individual.
Q. Should I continue to see my general dentist while in braces? A. It is very important to continue your regular dental checkups to prevent or detect dental decay and maintain overall dental health. Your dentist also likes to know how you are doing with your orthodontic care.
Q. How often am I seen in your office for checks? A. After the initial visits, once your appliances are in place, we usually see you every 6 - 8 weeks for adjustments and regular checks. In rare instances when an orthodontic appliance breaks or becomes loose, prompt attention will be given.

Costs
If treatment is indicated, two things will be discussed: an estimate of treatment time and fee quotes. Costs will depend on the difficulty in treating your problem as well as the proposed length of treatment.
Monthly payments can be arranged based on estimated length of treatment and total cost. Please bring insurance information; we pre-authorize all plans. Our treatment coordinator will go over options and begin the insurance process.
